Folklore Collection
The Folklore collection is inspired by the master craftsman with the hand of the artisan in every detail. This collection evokes the pierced stonework or architectural masterpieces such as the Alhambra in Spain. Its soft geometry complements large and small spaces. Piazza references the beauty of inlaid marble floors found in the villas of ancient Rome. Its large scale is dramatic yet timeless. Florentine celebrates the hand of medieval needlework and Toulon features flowing designs of English crewelwork.
The Styles
-
Broadloom - Tufted Alhambra
Named after the storied palace in Andalusia, Spain, this evocative pattern recreates the look of intricately laid tile floors, but in a much softer surface that’s a lot easier on your joints. The fortress’ long history includes a layering of styles and cultures–including Roman and Moorish, both reflected in the contemporary design. It will bring a bit of indoor-outdoor, sun-kissed warmth to your indoor spaces. The ten available colorways include a rich range of browns, blues, greens, and rust reds, each a fresh take on classical motifs.

-
Broadloom - Tufted Florentine
A perfect example of rustic chic, this dynamic design has the look of an abstracted, well-worn, inlaid wood floor, one that would have taken hundreds of hours of skill and craftsmanship to create. It also has the more casual feel of straw or rush matting, a swank and stylish interpretation of the tropical. The expertly-colored range is strong enough to stand on its own, or it can work with other Folklore Collection patterns to create additional visual play.

Broadloom - Tufted Piazza
Part of the Folklore Collection, inspired by master craftspeople and the particular hand of the artisans evident in their work. This dramatic and large-scale work references the nobility of inlaid marble floors found in ancient Roman villas–but this surface is much more inviting and comfortable underfoot. The tufted tipshear process creates a cut-velvet brocade surface with plush designs gently raised above a multi-hued ground of striations beneath. Its a complexity that is both visual and tactile, in an array of ten majestic colorways.

Broadloom - Tufted Toulon
In lower-contrast hues, this charmer resembles a flowing panel of English crewelwork; turn up the volume and it recalls elaborate ironwork grilles. Theres is therefore a bit of play in how you can us it to define a space: more subtle and romantic for a smaller library or something more commanding for a large resort. Either way, multicolor striations in the background give it a subtle sense of motion, while the color ways offer a rich tapestry of options.
